I had a simple but impactful vision: bring a locally owned steak and seafood dining experience to the community that shaped me. Opening Seared was not just the next step in my career. It was a long-held goal connected to my roots in West Toledo. After seeing strong support for my other restaurants, the chance to reimagine a familiar spot on Alexis Road felt like the perfect opportunity to introduce something memorable.

From the moment you walk in, Seared offers an experience that feels cozy and inviting. It’s a space that works just as well for casual evenings as it does for special celebrations. The ten-seat bar serves as a main gathering point and offers craft beer, signature cocktails, and a thoughtful wine list with options by the glass or bottle.

Our menu reflects this same attention to detail. We specialize in high-quality seafood and hand-cut Angus Reserve Prime steaks. Seafood selections can be paired with toppings like roasted tomatoes, capers, or seasonal vegetables. Steak options include sirloin, strip, ribeye, and filet, with the option to add scallops, shrimp, or lobster.

Our kitchen also prepares flavorful soups, satisfying pasta dishes, and sides that stand on their own. Favorites include roasted cauliflower in a tomato-based sauce, grilled asparagus with shaved Parmesan, and a rich, unforgettable four-cheese macaroni.

Whether you are joining us for dinner, enjoying a drink at the bar, or hosting a gathering in our private event room, we want every visit to feel special. To me, Seared is more than a new restaurant. It’s my way of giving West Toledo a place to relax, celebrate, and enjoy quality food in a setting that feels welcoming and familiar. We look forward to seeing you.

Sincerely,

Eric Sitter, Founder and Local Restaurateur
